Lower School

The ASF Lower School is a community where everyone works together to grow to respect each other, share an enthusiasm for learning and to learn more about our world.

The Lower School program is constructed based on a set of core values. Students, teachers, and parents in the Lower School community work together to promote and instill the following values:

• Each student is unique and is valued for his or her individual qualities;
• The school community is based upon mutual respect;
• Everyone learns differently and needs a variety of opportunities for learning;
• The school is a comfortable environment for academic and social development;
• It is important to learn other languages; when we do, the world opens up to us, and this helps us understand one another;
• It is important to participate actively in social service.
